During the development of SEN | XOR we've tried every piece of "affordable" sensor on the market. Many of them didn't make much sense for our uses, others would have needed the expensive "pro" version to work for us. EMG stands for Electro Myography and refers to a medical instrument used to record muscular contractions. Usually the EMG uses needles and/or small electrical shocks to work, the cheap version we got works with standard electrodes (like the ones used in other medical sensor applications), which is a lot better for the audience, but unfortunately it didn't work for us. Well, experimenting with all these sensors has been a great experience anyway!
